Funeral arrangements for the Cleveland police officer who passed away suddenly after collapsing during a training exercise last week have been announced.
The Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association announced a wake will be held for Officer Vu Nguyen on Wednesday, July 11 at Chambers Funeral Home located at 4420 Rocky River Drive from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m at Our Lady of Angels Church located at 3644 Rocky River Drive.
According to Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association president Jeff Folmer, Officer Nguyen collapsed during K-9 testing. Authorities have not said what caused him to collapse.
