Glenville and Lyndhurst.

The two neighborhoods are just seven miles apart.

In a car, that's about 26 minutes.

But people born in Glenville will die 12 years sooner than those born in Lyndhurst.

That's according to Virginia Commonwealth University's Center on Society and Health.

The center calculated the life expectancies using statistics from state and local health agencies as well as population data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
