A man was arrested on the RTA after bragging about getting away from police early Tuesday morning.

Around 2 a.m., a man was stopped by the Ohio State Highway Patrol by West 95th and Detroit Avenue under suspicion of an OVI. The man ran from police and was later spotted on the RTA a few hours later. While he was on the train around 5 a.m. he was heard bragging about getting away from the police to passengers on the train, and seen with a handcuff hanging off of one of his wrists.

One of the passengers called the RTA police and they spotted the man outside of the JACK Casino at Prospect and Ontario. The man was arrested on the scene.

The Cleveland Metro Ohio State Highway Patrol officer is currently working with the RTA to positively identify the man, and the incident is under investigation.
