CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a fatal shooting.
The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 11100 block of Parkview Avenue.
When police arrived, they found a 28-year-old man in the driver seat of an Audi SUV with a gunshot wound.
Police said the driver was conscious but unresponsive.
The man was transported to University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said that preliminary information has revealed that an unknown person knocked on a resident's door and told them that a man was shot sitting in a vehicle in their driveway and then walked away.
Authorities said the resident was not familiar with the vehicle or the victim. It is unknown is the man who knocked on the door was involved in the shooting.
