Cleveland police are investigating a shooting at a barbershop on the city's East Side Thursday afternoon.
According to authorities, the shooting happened in the 14800 block of St. Clair Avenue just before 3 p.m.
A man in his 20s was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said. Two other victims drove themselves to a local hospital.
Police said it appears an individual walked into Champions Barber Shop and started shooting. Two others returned fire.
A customer who was getting a haircut when the shooting went down said it was like the "wild wild west."
"Bullets flying everywhere," he said. The customer said he ran out the back door to avoid being hit with gunfire.
The owner of the barbershop, who wasn't there at the time of the shooting, later told News 5 he has owned the business for more than 10 years and nothing like this has happened before.
