A man was shot and killed on East 43rd Street early morning.
After arriving at the scene around 8 a.m., Cleveland police rendered first aid to the victim, 41-year-old Nakika Burston, until EMS transported him to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Burston later died from his injuries.
According to police, 40-year-old Jermaine Burkes came to Burston's home over a drug dispute and later shot him. Burkes was arrested a short time later.
The Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners Office arrived at the scene, and the incident is still under investigation.
