A man died after being shot at West 81st Street and Franklin Boulevard on Monday, according to Cleveland police.
The incident, which took place in the 1400 block of West 81st Street, is being investigated as a homicide by Cleveland police.
EMS was dispatched to the scene around 1:45 p.m. and police followed around 2 p.m. EMS took 41-year-old Dwayne Pigee to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police originally reported the location of the incident as West 79th Street and Franklin Boulevard.
