Cleveland police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old man who was shot and killed while sitting in a car Tuesday afternoon on the city's east side.
Around 3:30 p.m., officers responded to 9930 Shale Ave., for reports of shots fired, police said.
When authorities arrived at the scene they located the victim, James Wilson, sitting in a car with a gunshot wound to the head
Wilson was taken to a University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center but later died from his wounds, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
No arrests have been made in the shooting, police said.
Police have not named any suspects.
