A woman accused of shooting and killing a man near Cuyahoga Community College is in custody.
According to police, 41-year-old Gola Lynch shot a 32-year-old man after an argument early Sunday.
Witnesses said the victim became engaged in an argument between Lynch and members of her family in the street near East 36th Street and Community College Avenue around 1:15 a.m.
When the argument became physical, Lynch allegedly took out a gun and shot the victim one time in the chest as he was fleeing.
The man was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the man as Cornelius Robinson, of Parma.
Three people were killed in Cleveland in the first three days of 2016. Last year, Cleveland saw a total of 119 homicides.
