A 37-year-old man was fatally shot early Saturday morning on Cleveland's east side while he was sitting in his car waiting for a friend.
The shooting happened just after midnight on the 14200 block of Milverton Avenue.
According to police, the victim, Maurice Johnson, had just arrived at the location and called his friend to say he was there. The friend told police he heard several gunshots and looked outside to see the victim slumped over the steering wheel.
The victim was shot multiple times, police said. He was transported to University Hospitals but later died from his injuries.
No suspect information is available.
