A man walked into a Cleveland police station Thursday evening and said he had killed someone in Fairview Park.
When Fairview Park police responded to the apartment at 20100 Lorain Road where the man said the crime happened, they found a woman dead from an apparent homicide.
The man, later identified as 33-year-old Jiansen Liang, has been charged with aggravated murder.
Preliminary investigation reveals Liang and the victim were acquaintances.
Police are investigating, along with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
No other information was immediately available.
