Man wanted by Canton police for homicide arrested

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Michael Burns, 43, over the weekend. Burns was wanted by Canton police for a homicide. 

Authorities reported Burns was suspected of the shooting death of 25-year-old Perry Robinson on Aug. 25 in the 900 block of Second Street Northwest.

Within 24 hours, officials said, an arrest warrant was issued and members of NOVFTF took Burns into custody in the 2400 block of Penn Place Northeast.
