Mayor Frank Jackson hosting event to shed light on crime in community

CLEVELAND — Mayor Frank Jackson and community leaders are hosting a Night Out Against Crime.

On Tuesday from 5-8:30 p.m., Jackson will be shining a light on crime and giving resident an opportunity to meet safety officials.

Activities include face painting, fingerprinting for children, and more.

There will be free hot dogs, chips and soda.

The main location for the event will be at Euclid Beach Park.

Other locations hosting the event will be McGowan Park from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Steelyard Commons from 5:30-8:30 p.m. , Arbor Park Village from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and Rainbow Terrace from 2-8 p.m.
