The Fourth of July tends to be the busiest time of the year for dogs in our area, and this year was no exception.

According to City Dogs, 97 dogs have come through its doors since July 5.

Many dogs have been reunited with their owners, adopted, or placed with rescue groups, but the shelter is still almost out of space.

City Dogs currently has 115 dogs between its shelter and foster homes.
