One dead, two injured in three separate overnight shootings

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating three different overnight shootings.

The first shooting happened at 3 a.m. on East 131st Street and Harvard Avenue.

A 42-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

A private vehicle drove him to University Hospital in unknown condition.

The second shooting happened at 4 a.m. in the 1100 block of East 143rd Street.

Ronald Evans, 30, suffered a gunshot wound to the face.

Evans was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said an unknown person walked up to the side of the vehicle and fired multiple shots at Evans.

No suspects have been identified.

The last shooting happened around 5:45 a.m. at East 155th Street and Harvard Avenue.

A 15-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks.

He was transported to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in unknown condition.
