A 20-year-old woman was shot in the head while sitting in her car outside her home in Cleveland late Saturday.
According to Cleveland police, the woman was sitting in a car outside her Jeffries Avenue home with her two friends around midnight when a white vehicle drove by and fired shots at the Ford Taurus.
The 20-year-old woman was struck in the head by one of the bullets.
Police said she got out of the car and collapsed on the ground.
Her two friends--ages 23 and 21--left the scene in the car they were sitting in but later met up with officers near Outhwaite Avenue, where the car was towed as evidence.
Neither of them were injured.
Witnesses said the people in the white vehicle may have been firing at another vehicle.
The shooting victim's name has not been released due to the extent of the injuries.
