Police conducting homicide investigation after 28-year-old man shot, killed in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Cleveland’s Union-Miles Park neighborhood early Sunday morning, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.

Officers responded to the 4300 block of East 114th Street around 12:30 a.m. where they found a man who had been shot.

EMS arrived and medics treated the man before transporting him to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The man was later identified as 28-year-old Byron Turner, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police have not identified a suspect, but a homicide investigation is being conducted, according to authorities.
