CLEVELAND — Members of the Cleveland Police Department’s homicide unit are investigating after a woman was found in a "decomposed state" inside her apartment Monday afternoon, according to a police report.
Police responded at around 1 p.m. to the 2480 block of Morris Black Place for a deceased female in her 50s with unknown injuries.
On scene, police learned the victim’s son came to his mother’s apartment to check on her after not seeing her. He found her in a decomposed state, police said.
No further information was released. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
