CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Tuesday morning on the city's west side after responding to a shots-fired call near Edgewater Park.
Around 2:43 a.m. authorities responded to the 1270 block of West 91st Street. When police arrived they found a man yelling from an upstairs window. Officers entered the home and located the man inside a bedroom with a gunshot wound.
The man, identified as Steven Heading, 39, of Cleveland, was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center and later died from his injury.
Authorities didn't say if the man was shot in the house or if the shot was fired from outside the residence.
