Cleveland police are investigating a series of armed vehicular robberies that has broken out across the city's Westside.

There have been 17 vehicle robberies on the Westside since Saturday, Oct. 29, and one on the Eastside. Police suspect a pair of men may be behind the rash of crime.

On Thursday alone, there were nine aggravated robberies, all on the Westside.

One such incident was reported around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night on Madison Avenue. A person was robbed at gunpoint by two young men. The men got away with a black 1997 Cadillac Seville. Police consider both suspects to be armed and dangerous.

Police are urging the public to remain safe and report any suspicious behavior. Anyone with tips for police can contact the First District Detective Bureau at 216-623-5118.
