CLEVELAND — On Tuesday, Cleveland police responded to an attempted smash and grab at the Speedway gas station on West 150th Street at Interstate 71.
The criminals left behind the van used in the attempted smash and grab. It appears the ATM was left behind, according to a News 5 photographer at the scene.
In October 2018, this same gas station was hit with an attempted smash and grab, according to the tweet below from News 5 photographer Mike Vielhaber.
ATM smash and grab attempt at the Speedway on West 150th at I-71. Van used left behind as well as the ATM. Glass broken but not too much damage. The strangest part is all the people who drive past 4 police cars and attempt to go inside to get their morning coffee. pic.twitter.com/Q5DBcNepFw
