According to GasBuddy, a website and smartphone app that analyzes gas prices, gas prices will be lower this Fourth of July weekend than they were on New Year's Day.

This marks the lowest Independence Day gas prices since 2005, with drivers paying an average of $2.21 per gallon. The ten year average for this high-travel weekend has been $3.14 at the same.

According to the website's Cleveland data, gas can currently be found for as low as $1.93 per gallon in the city.
