A woman crashed her SUV into the side of the First Merit Bank at the corner of East 71st and Harvard just after 3:15 a.m. Friday.
The crash appears to be accidental but police have not yet figured out what caused the woman to crash into the bank.
The crash left a large hole in the side of the building.
The driver was transported to a local hospital by Cleveland EMS in stable condition.
