A driver left his SUV behind after crashing into two trees and a building early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on the 5700 block of Broadway Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
A witness said the driver told him that he fell asleep as he ran away from the crash.
The witness was able to help direct Cleveland police to where the man went and police were able to catch the man.
Two trees were knocked down as the SUV drove along the sidewalk before it crashed into the Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland's building.
There's no word on charges or if the man was injured in the crash.
