CLEVELAND — The public can once again get their hands on tickets for the Cruise the Zoo event at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo after technical issues on Tuesday prevented anyone from purchasing tickets to the popular event.

The zoo has been closed since March 16, and the Cruise the Zoo event will give the public a first glimpse of the zoo by offering guests the chance to see giraffes, elephants and bears from the safety of their vehicles.

This limited-time drive-thru event will help raise some much-needed funds after the zoo reported revenue is down $1.5 million from 2019.

Families can download a free audio guide during the event to hear from experts on animals, habitats and conservation.

Cruise the Zoo will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from May 20 until May 31. Entry is $20 per car for zoo members and $40 per car for non-members. Advance reservations that can only be purchased online are required for entry.

Purchase tickets here.
