Cleveland police are investigating two shootings that left two men with gunshot injuries.
At about 10:35 p.m. Friday, a 22-year-old was driving on W. 105 Street when a man got into his car and put a gun to his head, according to police. The intruder told the driver to get on the freeway.
As they neared E. 9th Street, the victim tried to grab the gun, police said. The gun was fired during the struggle, hitting the victim in the leg. The victim drove to E. 9th Street and Carnegie Avenue where he called police.
Detectives are still investigating.
A few hours later, a 30-year-old man was shot in the back.
The victim told police he got out of the car to urinate near London Road and St. Clair Avenue when a man walked up to him and said something the victim could not understand.
The victim said he heard a shot and immediately left the area. When he realized he had been shot, he called a family member who drove him to University Hospitals.
Detectives are still investigating.
