CLEVELAND — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wrong-way crash.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. on I-80 in Cuyahoga County.
Troopers said a white 2017 Hyundai Sonata was traveling east in the westbound lanes near mile marker 164.
The vehicle struck a 2014 Dodge Cargo van head-on before hitting an Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser that was attempting to stop the driver.
The driver of the van and the trooper suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers said the wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
