AVON, Ohio — We all know duct tape fixes everything but how does it hold up in the fashion world?

Duck Brand in Avon is rolling out its annual Stuck At Prom contest and two lucky students have a chance to win $10,000 each by making their prom dress and tuxedo out of Duck Brand duct tape and/or crafting tape.

To make sure everyone has a chance to enter and win no matter whether or not a prom takes place at every school, Duck Brand has removed the requirement to wear your one-of-a-kind creation to the actual prom.

Students can enter their prom dresses and tuxedos between March 31 and June 9. The judging will be held June 10-18, with community voting June 30 through July 14. The winners will be announced at the end of July.

The only requirements are the students need to be enrolled in high school, or a home school association at the high-school level, during the 2020-2021 school year.

The first-place dress and tuxedo will each earn a $10,000 prize. Eight runners-up each will receive a $500 cash scholarship and Duck® Brand Prize Packs valued at $100.

So, stock up on your favorite colors and prints now to create something that will wow the judges!
