The father of ann East Cleveland boy found wandering the streets on Sunday morning has a lengthy criminal history, police records indicate.

The boy's father, Demershion Taylor, had previous arrests for aggravated assault, drug trafficking and resisting arrest, among others.

The boy was missing for hours until his grandmother called police to identify him.

Police went to check in on the condition of the other children in the home after the 6-year-old boy was found wandering in the streets.

East Cleveland Police body cam video shows officers walking through the house where the boy walked away from home without his parents knowing he was gone.
