A mixed cargo train derailed in Ashland County early Saturday morning spilling propane and zinc oxide, according to emergency management officials.
The Ashland County Emergency Management Agency said 14 cars derailed around 3 a.m. on Route 39 near Loudonville.
One tanker car carrying propane spilled leading officials to call in various HAZMAT teams.
Another hopper car transporting zinc oxide was derailed.
The train, 135 cars in total, stretches more than one mile long.
RedCross was called to the scene to assist multiple fire departments.
