A teen was injured in a drive-by shooting on the city’s East side on Friday afternoon, police said.
The 16-year-old female victim was shot in the ankle on the 3500 block of East 91st Street at around 3:30 p.m. during the drive-by.
She was taken to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to authorities.
Further details on the incident were not immediately available.
Police are investigating the shooting.
