Bedford Police are investigating after two people were shot.
Police were called to a house near Washington Avenue and Solon Road on Monday morning.
The fire chief said the victims, a man and a woman, were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene but was taken into custody outside a local business. The suspect also suffered injuries and is in the hospital.
Bedford Police said the suspect and the victims know each other.
Charges have not been announced, and no other information has been released at this time.
