CLEVELAND — A 26-year-old man was found shot and killed in a parking lot of a gas station on Cleveland's East Side, according to police.
Police responded on Thursday at 11:59 p.m. for reports of shots fired in the 4000 block of East 131st Street.
Officers located a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Sunoco Gas Station.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. He was later identified as Anthony Eaton Jr., according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
On scene, police learned the victim was allegedly involved in a fight prior to the shooting at a nearby location, according to the report.
Police have not made any arrests and it's believed that a white vehicle, possibly a Buick LaSabre, could be involved.
The shooting remains under investigation.
