PARMA, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Board of Health has reported three residents have died from the flu during the period of March 29 to April 4, according to a release.
A 78-year-old female Parma Heights resident, a 81-year-old male Bedford resident and a 88-year-old male Parma Heights resident were the three flu-related deaths for the week.
The total number of flu-related deaths for the season to date is 34, according to the board of health.
The board of health said 6.8% of deaths reported were due to pneumonia for this week.
