Two men were on a porch at Somerset Avenue Wednesday night when three men came out of an abandoned home across the street and reportedly began shooting at them, according to Cleveland police.
After the shots broke out at around 8:50 p.m., officers found Dion Pratt, 28, on the floor inside the house with gunshot wounds to his chest. He was transported to University Hospitals where he was pronounced dead.
The second victim, a 25-year-old with gunshot wounds in his legs, ran from the the porch at 10402 Somerset and lived. Officers who responded to the scene found him at 10022 North Boulevard.
