32-year-old Euclid man dies after shooting at Cleveland Heights apartment complex

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights police are investigating a shooting that left a Euclid man dead early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened around 1:52 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of Monticello Boulevard.

News 5's overnight news photographer witnessed what he described as a large crime scene in the parking lot of the apartment complex.

The man has been identified as Deandre Johns, 32, of Euclid, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Authorities said that Johns had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information has been released.
