MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Maple Heights police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman outside a bar early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened in the bar's parking lot, located in the 16000 block of Libby Road, around 2:39 a.m.
Police responded to the scene and found 37-year-old Sheree Kirby lying in the street with a gunshot wound, authorities said. Kirby was transported to a nearby hospital and later died.
According to police, a small, white, 4-door Kia or Hyundai with a broken rear window was spotted fleeing the scene by witnesses.
