A six-year old was shot, along with a man Thursday night in the 1700 block of North Taylor Road in East Cleveland just before 9 p.m., according to the East Cleveland police.
The girl was shot in the leg and had a superficial graze. The man, who is in his 20s, was also shot in the leg.
The child was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they arrested a 67-year-old man in connection with the shooting, in addition to recovering a handgun.
The suspect and the victims are not related, police said.
