A 17-year-old male was shot and killed outside the AJ Rickoff Elementary School playground on Sunday evening.
Devin Price was found at 6:12 p.m. in the playground, located at E. 147th and Kinsman Road, with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, according to a Cleveland police news release.
He was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Price's death is the city's 15th homicide this year.
A group of juveniles were in the playground when a light-colored sedan pulled up and two people got out of the vehicle. One of the people pointed a gun at the teenager and started firing before getting back inside the vehicle and speeding off, the release said.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
