East Cleveland police are looking for two suspects in the fatal shooting of Diamond Russell, the nephew of Glenville High School football coach Ted Ginn Sr.

Police said 19-year-old Alonzo J. Patterson and 22-year-old Dontez D. Long are both wanted for aggravated murder.

Patterson was described by police as being 6 feet 3 inches tall and 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Long was described by police as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Diamond Russell, 19, was found unresponsive around 11:43 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Euclid and Superior avenues. He was transported to University Hospital where he later died.

Ginn Sr. said the family was notified around 3 a.m.

Russell was scheduled to graduate this year from Ginn Academy.

Police said just minutes before the shooting Russell was in the Shell gas station at Euclid and Superior Avenue buying snacks inside the store.

The gas station owner told witnesses reported there was an argument outside the gas station near the bus stop on Superior Avenue, seconds before the shooting took place.
