Bay Village police asked residents to stay in their homes Sunday morning as they investigated a "potential domestic dispute."
Officers first arrived on scene in the area of East Oakland Road at 9:25 a.m. Police set up a perimeter.
A resident in the area told News 5 police had their guns drawn and shields.
Police say the suspect shot himself and is now dead.
No one is in danger and no other people were hurt.
