A Bedford High School staff member has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly being involved in an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The school has contacted police and family services.
Bedford City Schools Superintendent Andrea Celico said the district "takes these types of allegations extremely seriously and does everything possible to protect the safety and well-being of its students."
Bedford Police Deputy Chief Rick Suts said they have no comment as they are actively investigating the case.
The identity of the staff member has not been released.
