CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A bicyclist involved in a crash with a car last week has died from his injuries, according to Cleveland Height police.
On Monday, Dec. 28, a cyclist was traveling in the area of Lee Road and Scarborough Road in Cleveland Heights when he swerved into traffic and ran into a car, police said.
The cyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and was believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries at the time.
On Tuesday, police said the man was in serious condition and headed into surgery.
Police said on Sunday that the man ended up suffering severe injuries as a result of the crash and died on Dec. 31.
The man was later identified as 71-year-old Terrance Ryan of Cleveland Heights.
