Bodies of man and woman found at Rocky River Reservation

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — The Cleveland Metroparks police are investigating after two people were found dead in the Rocky River Reservation.

The bodies were discovered Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m. after police responded to a report of two deceased people in the Rocky River Reservation, just north of the Lorain Road Bridge, according to Cleveland Metroparks officials.

The bodies were identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office as 40-year-old Carnell E. Sledge, of North Olmsted, who was found outside in the grass off the Valley Parkway, and 33-year-old Katherine Brown, of Fairview Park, who was found in the water near the Valley Parkway.

There were no additional details given as to the cause of death.

The incident remains under investigation.
