Browns fans go silent over Manziel

Posted at 8:01 PM, Jan 31, 2016

Cleveland Browns fans frustrated with Johnny Manziel’s most recent antics have pledged to stop talking about the troubled player during the month of February, silently asking for the release of Manziel from the team.

Twitter user @Reflog_18 started the movement by calling for the use of the hashtag #JFF or Johnny Free February, asking supporters to avoid talking about the player on social media during the following month.

Recently Manziel made headlines after authorities in Texas scrambled a helicopter to look for him following what was described as a “domestic incident.”

Manziel was not arrested, but police said they are reviewing the incident. Cleveland Browns’ officials declined to comment.
