Cleveland native Michael Symon is vowing to rebuild his popular Tremont restaurant after a fire caused heavy damage to the building Sunday afternoon.

Lolita on Literary Road caught fire around 1:45 p.m.

Shortly after, Symon tweeted that his staff members were able to get out of the building safely.

Cleveland Fire Spokesperson Larry Gray said the fire appears to have started on the first floor and spread to the second floor. The first floor sustained water damage and offices on the second floor were destroyed.

On Facebook, Symon said that although the damage was pretty significant, they will "come back strong."
