Cleveland mother charged with assault for allegedly breaking her child's bones

A Cleveland mother was arrested for allegedly breaking her child's bones last month.

Brittany Franklin is charged with felonious assault and endangering children for causing injuries to her 7-month-old child and sending the infant to the hospital March 31, according to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court documents. 

Franklin, 24, was released on a  $10,000 bond Monday. 

On Friday, she was appointed an attorney and ordered to stay away from her the child during a court appearance.
