For some, it's the dream to work a police beat in a big city. Ohio officers now have the opportunity to chase that dream as the Cleveland Police Department has patrol officer positions open to applicants.
The City of Cleveland is taking applications for patrol officers in the form of a lateral transfer. Applicants should be certified by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and have at least three years of full-time paid experience as a police officer in Ohio.
The department is offers medical, vision, dental and life benefits, longevity pay and pension with the Ohio Police and Fire Fund to its employees.
