A Euclid man has been charged in federal court after he was allegedly arrested with 900 fentanyl pills.
Ryan Gaston, 29, is charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and crack cocaine.
According to the Department of Justice, Gaston was arrested on Feb. 3.
Law enforcement searched his car and home, finding rocks of crack cocaine, a 9 mm rifle and approximately 926 round blue pills believed to be Oxycodone.
A test of the substance revealed the pills were not Oxycodone, but instead fentanyl.
Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Gilson said earlier this month that fentanyl had not been seen in pill form until this year.
