Dozens of local police and federal agents converged on the city's southeast side Thursday morning.
Armed with dozens of felony warrants for fugitives on the run. Cleveland police, the FBI, ATF and U.S. Marshals were among some of the agencies that fanned out in the city's fourth district searching for some of the areas most violent, most wanted criminals in some of the city's most violent neighborhoods.
"We've got our marching orders from Mayor Jackson and Chief Williams and this pressure will continue," said Deputy Chief Ed Tomba.
Police were in the area where just last week 3-year-old Major Howard was killed while sitting in a car. Police continue to look for his killer.
Police arrested seven people Thursday.
